Aardvark Brigade developed Hit the Road, an interactive roadmap of the top 10 historical destination in the United States, for the History Channel. We were tasked with this project because of our previous work for History Channel and its sister company A&E.
Hit the Road originally started as a standard site using Flash to deliver the historical content and then evolved to include more 3D animation and rich interactive tools. Along with the website, we also developed a successful rich media campaign that enabled users to build their own RV and encouraged further interaction with the site itself. Our work on this site was picked as an Adobe Site of the Day for May 11th, 2010 and we couldn’t be more proud of the work we delivered.
